ABURA ZONE LAJNA PRAYS TAHAJJUD ON NEW YEAR'S DAY

On June 4th and 8th 2022, Abura Zone shared messages of faith, beliefs, trust & patience. These messages were motivational messages to encourage the Lajna members to be committed.

KHILAFAT DAY & JALSA SALANA GHANA

Khilafat Day was held on the 27th May 2022. The date coincided with the beginning of the Jalsa Salana Ghana. The Jalsa took place on the 27th and 28th May respectively. In attendance were about 1,149 Lajna & Nasirat members.

HANDICRAFTS ACTIVITY

On 15th & 22nd May, 2022, Abura Zone held a circuit meeting in Abura & Praso Circuits where the handicrafts secretary, Madam Sakina Hussein took members present through some series of activities such as door mat weaving, table mat, liquid soap making & pan cake. The attendance for the meeting was 69 Lajna and 17 Nasirat.

EID-UL FITR CELEBRATION

On 3rd May, 2022, members converged at Cape Coast Sport Stadium to celebrate Eid. About 400 Lajna & Nasirat were in attendance.

ABURA ZONE LAJNA PRAYS TAHAJJUD ON NEW YEAR'S DAY

The first day of the New Year which was Saturday, 1st January, 2022 the Abura Jama’at organized Tahajjud prayers at the Abura Central Mosque. A total number One Hundred and Fifty-Five (155) members of Lajna Imaillah and Fifty (50) Nasirat were present. The Zonal Missionary took the opportunity to advise the youth on the Negative Effect of Outing, Importance of Salat and Decent Dressing. Aside New Year’s day, the Jama’at members offer Tahajjud prayers on the first Monday and Thursday of every month.

ABURA ZONAL NASIRAT BENEFIT FROM TARBIYYAT CLASSES

The Abura Zonal Missionary, Nasirat Coodinator, Nasirat Secretary and Atfat Nazim organized Tarbiyyat classes for students and Nasirat members. This took place at the Abura Ahmadiyya School from 27th December 2021 to 9th January 2022. Abura Jama’at helped with feeding, organised a party for the participants and also gave awards to those who performed very well.

ABURA ZONE LAJNA HOLDS ZONAL CONFERENCE

On the 26th of December 2021, Abura Zone organized a Zonal Conference at Edukrom to revived members’ faith. Three hundred and thirty (330) Lajna members and One Hundred (100) Nasirat members attended. Alhamdulillah all the circuits were able to take part of the activities. The activities that took place during the Zonal Conference were sporting, scademic competitions and exhibition. The Zone was able to award all the winners, by giving them Yassarnal Quran and exercise books. Ten (10) copied of the Review of Religions magazine were distributed among the invited guests.

SADR LAJNA MULK VISITS PRASO CIRCUIT

Sadr Sahiba, Hajia Anisa Nasiredeen Iddrisu visited Praso Circuit on 3rd December, 2021. She offered Jummah prayers at Someyamekodu along with One Hundred (100) Lajna members and Sixty (60) Nasirat. She was accompanied by some National Amila members. Sadr Sahiba advised members to perform their five (5) daily prayers accordingly. She said that we should believe that Prophet MuhammadSA is Allah’s servant and His messenger. She also encouraged members to pay their chanda, and dress decently.

MEMBERS OF UMOORE TALIBAAT CULTIVATE VEGETABLES

On 27th September, 2021, members of Umoore Talibaat engaged in vegetable cultivation. The vegetables which were grown were cabbage, carrots, lettuce and tomatoes. 52 cabbage, 42 carrots and 32 lettuce were planted. About 8 to 10 members helped in the cultivation of these vegetables in empty rice sacks, at the topmost of the Abura Ahmadiyya Mosque. The lettuce were harvested on 3rd December, 2021 and were sold at the Abura Mosque.

AMWSA-UCC HOLDS FORUM ON ENTREPRENEURIAL SKILLS

Alhamdulillah, AMWSA-UCC in collaboration with Umoore Talibaat was able to organize an entrepreneurial skills program on 21st August, 2021. Lajna members who attended the program were equipped with entrepreneurial skills such as beads making, decoration (interior and event) and brown sugar production. the resource personnel who graced the occasion were Madam Sarah Ankam, the national Handicraft Secretary for Lajna Imaillah Ghana and her assistant Madam Sarah Dadzie. The program was highly appreciated and members who were in attendance requested for more.

ABURA ZONE NASIRAT LEARN HANDICRAFT AS PART OF CENTENARY PROJECT

Nasirat from Abura Zone as part of their Centenary project learnt handicraft at Abura Mosque on 10th July, 2021. 55 members of Nasirat were taught some handicraft work and they
