RECENT NASIRAT ACTIVITIES OF ABURA ZONE
NASIRAT COOKING COMPETITION
Alhamdulillah a cooking competition was organised among Nasirat in the local Jama’at of Abura Circuit in the Abura Zone. The activity was organised to mark the end of the tarbiyyat classes which were organised for members during their vacation. The programme was held on the 9th of September, 2022. About thirty-seven Nasirat from four jama’ats came together to compete among themselves. Different dishes like ampesi with kontomire stew, banku with okro soup, jollof rice, salad and dessert were the foods prepared by the young Nasirat.
On the 21st of August, 2022, about sixty-one Nasirat in the zone took part in the nationwide Nasirat exam which was set by the national Nasirat Secretariat.
ABURA ZONE NASIRAT ORGANISES NASIRAT HANDICRAFT ACTIVITY
Nasirat from all four circuits of the zone met at the Abura Ahmadiyya Mosque on 13th March 2022 to learn some handicraft skills. Members first exhibited their previous works after which they learnt new skills. Cape Coast Nasirat learnt how to make flowers, Edukrom Nasirat learnt how to make key holders and also prepared fried plantain with beans stew. Abura Nasirat learnt how make door mat. Alhadulillah it was a successful event which attracted a participation of 50 Nasirat.
ABURA ZONE NASIRAT LEARN HANDICRAFT AS PART OF CENTENARY PROJECT
Nasirat from Abura Zone as part of their Centenary project learnt handicraft at Abura Mosque on 10th July, 2021. 55 members of Nasirat were taught some handicraft work and they were able to make items like teddy bear, handbags, key holders and calendars made with clothes.
ABURA ZONAL NASIRAT UNDERTAKES TREE PLANTING EXERCISE
As part of the Lajna centenary Tree Planting project, 12 members of Lajna Imaillah including Nasirat in Abura Zone undertook a tree planting exercise in which 20 coconut trees were planted. This took place at the Abura new Mission house on Sunday June 6, 2021.
