RECENT NASIRAT ACTIVITIES OF BEDUM ZONE

BEDUM ZONAL NASIRAT COOKING COMPETITION

On the 13th of March, 2022, members of Nasirat had a cooking competition at Bedum. The following is a record showing the type of food prepared by each circuit. Brakwa circuit prepared vanilla coffee drink and fruit cutting, Asikuma circuit prepared pasta rice, vegetable stew and roasted chicken, Odoben circuit made bottle flower and paper flower and Bedum circuit made tissue flower and beaded slippers. The following personalities were present, Madam Hafsat Entsie, Zonal Sadr, Madam Hawa Akyirefi, Zonal Secretary, Madam Hajira Usman, Zonal Nasirat Secretary. Madam Ajia Hawa Hammond Zonal Ta’lim secretary and Bedum Sadr, Bedum Circuit missionary’s wife Madam Halimah Baiden, Madam Raheema Nyanful, Brakwa Circuit President and Madam Rahmat Arthur, Local president. A total of 44 Nasirat and 18 Lajna members were present.

BEDUM ZONAL NASIRAT UNDERGO HANDICRAFT TRAINING

On the 1st of January, 2022, a handicraft training program was held for Nasirat. The National Handicraft Secretary, Madam Sarah Ankam tasked the zone to learn how to prepare paper flowers and flower vase with empty bottles. Madam Hawa Akyirefi, the Bedum Zonal Secretary, taught members on how to make paper flowers for decoration. The items used were; paper, manual card or plane white paper, glue gun. For the bottle vase, items used were; empty cd and empty water bottles. Alhamdulillah, 50 Nasirat and 45 Lajna members benefited from the training.

BEDUM ZONE ORGANISES TA'LIM CLASSES FOR NASIRAT

Ta’lim classes were held from 22nd December, 2021 to 2nd January, 2022 at the Bedum Ahmadiyya Mosque. The classes attracted 95 participants of which were 50 Nasirat, 45 Lajna members. Topics treated during the classes were History of Islam and Hadith, Salat performance, teaching of Yassarnal Qur’an, Qur’anic studies, Life history of Prophet MuhhammedSA.

A total of 8 teachers helped in teaching the participants including 2 Lajna members, 4 Khudam, a Hafiz Maulvi and the Bedum Missionary. The zonal Nasirat coordinator, Madam Hajira Usman led the entire program. Cooking classes and sporting activities for Nasirat were also held during the course of the program.

On 2nd January, 2022, there was a zoom meeting of Nasirat with National Sadr Lajna. After which the closing ceremony of the Ta’lim class was held. Certificates and awards were given to all Nasirat participants. The teachers were also presented with awards. The program ended successfully with a closing prayer. Alhamdulillah

BEDUM ZONE ORGANISED HANDICRAFT ACTIVITIES FOR NASIRAT

A number of handicraft activities were organized in May, 2021 by Hawa Akyirefi, Handicraft /Publication Secretary and Nasirat Secretary Hajia Usman for Bedum Zone Lajna and Nasirat.  Members were taught on three different occasion on the 12th 18th and 25th of May, 2021, how to make key holders with beads and using tissue to make flowers. Members have also been taught how to make hair turban, watermelon basket, pineapple surprise, pineapple tray and how to weave beads on slippers.
