RECENT NASIRAT ACTIVITIES OF MANKESSIM ZONE

SKILLS TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT
Saltpond Jama’at in the Mankessim Zone organised a skills training and development programme on 5th November, 2022. Participants were taught some handicraft skills using beads. The programme was held at the Ahmadiyya Mosque in Saltpond and was attended by 9 Nasirat and 3 Lajna members.

NASIRAT EXHIBITION
In accordance with the Nasirat centenary Action Plan, Mankessim Zone held an exhibition in Mankessim Central Mosque on 13th March, 2022. Items exhibited include, Beaded Bags and Slippers, key Holders, pony-pins, wall- hungers, dream catchers, file box and paper bags. Local dishes like Apapransah and sobolo drinks were also sold. A total of 87 Nasirat participated.

MEET YOUR EXECUTIVES (NASIRAT)
Mankessim circuit Nasirat met their executives on 20th February, 2022 at Mankessim central Mosque. The zonal executives were introduced to the Nasirat as well as their roles. The executives interacted with the Nasirat about their studies and their general wellbeing. The Nasirat were given the opportunity to ask questions about the works of the executives and also their personal lives. In all, 34 Nasirat participated.

BREAST CANCER SCREENING EXERCISE
Mankessim circuit organized a breast screening exercise at the central mosque premises on 19th November, 2021. The exercise was in line with the action plan of the Sihat-o-Jismani Secretariat. Four (4) nurses from the Golden Jubilee Hospital at Mankessim were invited to help undertake the exercise. A total of 54 Lajna and 6 Nasirat participated in the exercise. Alhamdulillah. Four (4) Lajna members were advised to have Mammogram done. Members were also advised to regularly self-examine their breast.

SPORTS FESTIVAL AT MANKESSIM
Mankessim circuit Lajna and Nasirat organized a sports festival at Mankessim on 20th February, 2022 at the central Mosque premises. The activities included; volley ball, basket ball, table tennis, musical chair and eating competition.
Participants benefited from a Health Talk on Blood Sugar, High Blood Pressure, Anxiety, Stress and Depression. A total of 264 members participated.

MANKESSIM ZONE LAJNA AND NASIRAT UNDERTAKES WAKAR-E-MAL AT CENTRAL MOSQUE
Mankessim Zone Lajna organized a Wakar-e-Amal at the Central Mosques on 10th January, 2021. Over 47 Lajna and Nasirat participated in the event to keep the mosque and its surrounding clean and to instill in the Nasirat the habit of cleanliness.

TAHAJUD AT MANKESSIM CENTRAL MOSQUE FOR LAJNA AND NASIRAT
On the 19th of February, 2021, Mankessim Zone participated in Tahajud prayers at the Central Mosque. A total of 33 Lajna and 3 Nasirat participated in the prayers. Alhamdullilah.
As part of welfare activities an Aqeeqa was held on the same day at the Central Mosque and 49 Lajna and Nasirat attended the event.
Also, on the 21st of February, 2021 54 Lajna and 20 Nasirat attended another Aqeeqa at the Central Mosque. On all occasions, health talks were given on COVD-19 and all protocols were observed.

MANKESSIM ZONE LAJNA AND NASIRAT CELEBRATES MUSLEH MAUD DAY
On the 20th and 21st of February, 2021 both Lajna and Nasirat celebrated Musleh Maud Day at the Mankessim Central Mosque respectively. Musleh Maud day is celebrated by Ahmadi Muslims annually on 20 February in remembrance of the prophecy concerning the birth of an "illustrious son" to Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (ra), The Promised Messiah and Mahdi which has been fulfilled in the person of Hazrat Mirza Bashir-ud-Din Mahmud Ahmad(ra), the second khalifa.

MANKESSIM ZONE LAJNA AND NASIRAT ORGANIZED FOOD BAZAAR TO FEED JAMA'AT
Lajna of Mankessim Zone organized a food Bazaar on 26th February, 2021. The event was held to enable Lajna and Nasirat exhibit their cooking skills and to feed the Jama'at for there was enough food for all to feast. Alhamdulilah.


NASIRAT AT MANKESSIM UNERTAKES WAKAR-E-AMAL AT BAIFIKROM PRIMARY SCHOOL
On the 6th of March, 2021 Nasirat of Mankessim Zone used the opportunity undertake a selfless and noble activity to benefit their peers in the form of a clean-up exercise at Baifikrom M/A Primary school.
Also, on the 14th of March, 2021 another clean-up exercise was organized by Nasirat this time at the Obaa Hemaa’s (Queen Mother’s) palace at Mankessim. A total of 37 Nasirat and 6 Girls participated in the exercise.
