LAJNA IMAILLAH GHANA HOLDS SALAT MEETING

In his Friday Sermon delivered on 8th November 1985, Hazrat Khalifatul Masih IV(rh) provided the following guidance:

The auxiliary organisation can become more alert and active if they were to make or assign specific programme weekly or monthly to get together to focus on the subject of Salat. One meeting of Majlis Amila should always be held to ponder only on the subject of Salat- no other topic should be assigned for the meeting. On that day, Lajna should be focusing on Salat, Khuddam should be focusing on Salat and Ansar should be focusing on Salat. They should make the decision that they will always set aside one meeting in a month to come together to focus on this subject…

In accordance with the guidance of Hazrat Khalifatul Masih IVrh      given in the Friday sermon of 8th November, 1985 and found at page 57-58 of the 2019 edition of the Lajna Imaillah Constitution, Sadr Lajna Imaillah Ghana, Hajia Anisa Nasirudeen Iddrisu at the beginning of the 2020/2021 Lajna year, directed that at least one Salat meeting should be organised within the year.

As a result, on Sunday, 25th April, 2021, a Salat meeting was organised via Zoom. The meeting was audio only and lasted for three hours. National, Zonal and Circuit Amila members of Lajna and all Lajna members were invited to join in the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Sadr Lajna Mulk, Hajia Anisa Nasirudeen Iddrisu.

As directed by Huzoor rh, the meeting was dedicated to discussing only matters related to Salat. There was a presentation on the topic “How important is Suratul Fatiha in Salat” delivered by Hajia Rahmat Ainooson, National Umoore Talibaat Secretary and another presentation on the topic “Making efficient use of voluntary prayers” which was delivered by Naib Sadr III, Hajia Fatiha Mubeena Adusei.

After the presentations, there was an opportunity for participants to ask questions related to salat which were answered by the speakers and the other National Amila members present.

Alhamdulillah, 28 National Amila members 1,298 Lajna members and 42 Nasirat from 26 Zones in Ghana joined the meeting by Zoom. Feedback received from Lajna members who joined the meeting indicates that the presentations were very educative. Members asked that more of such meetings should be organised in the future, insha’Allah.

The aim of the salat meeting is to improve the status of the Salat performance of members and to ensure that all auxiliary organisations of the Jama’at will become more active, insha’Allah.

All Praise is due to Allah, Lord of all the Worlds!
