SADR LAJNA IMAILLAH TOUR OF ZONES – ACCRA CENTRAL, UPPER WEST, DAMANGO, YENDI AND TAMALE
Alhamdulillah, the restrictions imposed by Government following the outbreak of Covid-19 in Ghana were eased in August, 2020. Ameer Sahib directed that members may return to Jummah and Jama’at activities involving social gatherings may resume whilst respecting covid-19 protocols. Therefore, following her appointment to the high office of Sadr Lajna Imaillah Ghana, Madam Hajia Anisa N. Iddrisu undertook tours to various Zones in Ghana.
The first Zone visited was Accra Central Zone, the Zone in which the National Headquarters of Ghana is located. Sadr Sahiba was again accompanied by her Naib Sadraans and eight National Amila members on a second tour to four Zones in Northern Ghana in September, 2020. The Zones toured were Upper West, Damango, Yendi and Tamale.
Sadr Sahiba held discussions with the Zonal and Circuit Amila about their work and ways to improve upon their activities. Other issues discussed were matters related to Lajna Centenary Plans, the Lajna Imaillah Project and the need to engage in activities of Lajna and most importantly submit verifiable reports on all activities. The zones used the platform to submit the challenges faced to Sadr Sahiba. Sadr Sahiba and her entourage seized the opportunity to visit four elderly members of the Jama'at, prayed with them and requested their prayers and support. Sadr sahiba also requested the Zonal Amila to do all they can to live lives worthy of emulation and be an example to others.
