LAJNA IMAILLAH GHANA HOSTS A 3-DAY HISTORIC REFRESHER COURSE FOR EIGHT (8) SUB SAHARAN AFRICAN COUNTRIES.

Lajna Imaillah Ghana, under the auspices of Hazrat Khalifatul Masih V (may Allah be his helper) was blessed to be the  host of a three-day refresher course for Lajna Imaillah, West Africa.

The refresher course was the first of its kind to be organized by the Central Lajna Section, United Kingdom. The main purpose of the training was to equip participating officers of various Shobas from eight West African countries with the requisite knowledge to run their Shobajaat effectively and efficiently in accordance with the Constitution of Lajna Imaillah. It was also to encourage knowledge sharing amongst members from participating countries as well as create an opportunity for country representatives to meet with conveners from the Lajna Section, Markazi, UK to discuss issues regarding progress as well as challenges encountered in the discharge of their duties. This medium as well as presentations of carefully selected topics on various administrative issues were made by country representatives to further broaden knowledge in these areas.

The Officer In-Charge of Lajna Section Markazi, UK, Mrs. Rehana Ahmad with the aid of an assistant Sister Faiza, seized the opportunity to provide guidance, suggestions, directions and advise to office bearers on how to effectively run their offices.

The course was hosted at the Ahamdiyya Muslim Mission’s National Headquarters, Accra, Ghana from the 18th to 20th of October, 2019.

With the exception of Senegal and Sao Tome, twenty-nine (29) representatives from Ghana, Sierra Leone, Ivory Coast, Togo, Guninea Bissau, and Liberia were present and participated in all the sessions of the course. All National Amila members of the host country, Ghana were invited to participate in the course. Madam Sakeena Bonsu, an honorary Lajna member was appointed by Hajia Rukia Khalid (Sadr Lajna Imaillah) as the Coordinator of the Course.
