RECENT ACTIVITIES OF WA WEST ZONE

DONATION
Lajna Imaillah Wa West Zone made a donation to the Children’s Ward of the Wa Municipal Hospital as part of the Lajna Centenary Celebration. Some of the items donated included juice and biscuits.

WA WEST ZONAL IJTEMA
Wa West Zonal Lajna Imaillah held their maiden zonal ijtema (conference) on 20th August, 2022 at the Imam Salih Mosque (Dobile). The theme for the ijtema was, ‘Creating and Sustaining a Peaceful Society: The Role of an Ahmadi Woman.’

SADR LAJNA MULK TOURS SELECTED
CIRCUITS IN UPPER WEST ZONE
Sadr Lajna Mulk, Hajia Anisa N. Iddrisu and entourage undertook familiarization visits to selected Circuits in the Upper Zone from 23rd to 28th July, 2021 as part of her Action Plan activities. The Circuits visited include Walenbelle, Tumu, Nandom, Jirapa, Goripie and Grungu/Kalba.
During the visits, Sadr Sahiba donated nine (9) boxes of sanitary pads and some used clothes to Lajna at Kalba. She also took the opportunity to visit a blind widow, who has no caretaker at Kalba. Sadr encouraged the Zonal executives who joined her on her visits to endeavour to visit the widow regularly.

CENTENARY TREE PLANTING BY UPPER
WEST ZONE LAJNA
The Upper West Zone Lajna undertook their centenary tree planting on 10th July, 2021. The location for this exercise was the T. I. Ahmadiyya Senior High School, Wa. A total of 595 trees were planted. Amongst the trees planted were, cashew(25), Teak (230), Rose wood (170) and Cassia (170).
